Changhong Proudly Support Local Community PDF Print E-mail

Changhong Electric (AUST) Pty Ltd proudly donated a 15” LCD TV to Mount Waverley St John’s Preschool Trivia Night on 13 August 2010.  The donation LCD TV for fundraising through silent auction is to support the local community. St. John’s Preschool which is a council kindergarten run by a committee of management who are parents volunteering their time. It is located in East Oakleigh and has approximately 70 families.  The fund raised through the Trivia night will help St John’s Preschool run smoothly and effectively and would provide programs and resources that aid in the overall development of the children.

Changhong launches its own 3D Plasma PDF Print E-mail

Changhong, a giant Chinese TV manufacture, will launch its 3D TV in domestic market in 24 June 2010. This high end series, 938, including 58 inch and 63 inch equipped with edge-cutting technology delivers the customer ultimate cinema viewing experience.  Changhong is one of the only four plasma panel manufactures all over the world. Comparing with LED 3D product, the advantages of Changhong own Plasma include 600Hz subfield drive, 180° viewing angle. What’s more, due to the illuminating theory of Plasma TV, 3D plasma would present natural and real color so it’s good for eyesight. Besides, when customers watch Changhong 3D plasma, there is no double image.  Also,all kinds of 3D formats are compatible.

The Changhong 938 series 3D plasma is super slim, only 3cm. The double-shot molding technology of TV manufacturing unfolds an art of piece to customers.  It is a low carbon product with only half energy consumption comparing with previews plasmas. Changhong also develops the 3D HiFi system to give customer the real impressive cinema.

Changhong is the first mover to introduce automatic robots production line for TV manufacturing in China.

Melbourne, 23 and 24 March, 2010: Changhong Electric (Australia) announced the launch of its new, advanced 2010 Lotus 07 Series LED TV, Refrigerator, Air-Conditioner and Plasma TV in the Australia market.

As the No. 1 TV Brand with over 50 years history in China, Changhong owns their own TV manufacturing operations and are one of only four companies in the world that have their own plasma manufacturing plant. Across two dealer events in Melbourne, Changhong launched the new LED range to retailers and sales staffs from Harvey Norman and The Good Guys. General Manager of Changhong Australia, David Shen Said: "With the launch of our new products, we're offering consumers the benefits of both high quality products and reasonable price".

Changhong's new LED range is called the Lotus 07 Series. There are seven models in the family range: 18.5-inch, 21.5-inch, 23.6-inch, 42-inch, two models at 46-inch (piano white and piano black) and 55-inch. For 42 inch and above, the dynamic contrast ratio is 100,000:1. Also, they are Full HD 1080p, 100Hz featuring with USB, SD Card slot and 3 HDMI inputs. They are all slim design, only 3.75 centimeters thick. The 32-inch will coming to Australia market later this year.
